Both are great, it's hard to choose, because the images and text are really easy for stopping and reading any times you need, without stoping the playlist but the video holds the secret of the small tricks you use in when you draw and sometimes we don't even notice we use, and wont write about in the other tutorial. It's difficult to choose one...

For me videos would be good because sometimes I need to see what I have to do, explaining it in pictures just doesn't cut it.

But that's just me...

Videos are fun to watch, but pictures are more practical. At least then i can save it and use it whenever i need it~

I actually like videos more, or at least those videos made by professionals such as Feng Zhu and hosted on his website/Youtube channel.

I like both! I haven't seen a lot of videos on other people's painting process, though, so I think that would be interesting, even though I voted images and text.
